Types of Therapies
Nowadays there are several ways of looking at mental pathology, its origin and its management. There are several clinics, that is to say several ways to meet a patient, several ways to listen to him. We don’t listen to the same thing according to theoretical standards. There are many ways to understand the origin of disorders and several ways to manage them.
Integrative Psychotherapy
Trained in psychoanalysis, and also in other theoretical currents during my training, today my practice as a psychologist is said to be integrative. The psychotherapeutic work that I propose is an association between psychodynamic work, cognitive-behavioral work and psycho-corporeal work; Hence the name of integrative psychotherapy. It is a question of taking into account being as a whole - the body, the emotions, the thought, the spirituality, the past, the present, the future - and for that I use several theoretical approaches for a taking into account. specific and adapted load. It is also a state of mind, a desire for openness which will also include ancient cultures, yoga, meditation, artistic practice, to restore space to the body and creativity.

THE DIFFERENT THEORETICAL APPROACHES TO WHICH I REFER:
It is a short therapy, scientifically validated, which aims to replace negative ideas and inappropriate behaviors with thoughts and reactions in line with reality. CBT helps to gradually overcome debilitating symptoms, such as: rites and checks, stress, depression, avoidance and inhibition, aggressive reactions, or distress that causes mental distress. Cognitive behavioral therapy helps the person to better understand the negative thought patterns that cause psychic distress. In addition, a CBT aims to support the person in the acquisition of useful skills to face new difficulties.

In phenomenology we are interested in the human experience which is that of being in relation to the world and to others.
We are then interested in what we call the presence of being.
What interests me particularly in this approach is its inscription in the present time because it is the time when presence is deployed.
Maurice Merleau-Ponty écrivait dans Phénoménologie de la perception :
Être corps, c’est être noué à un certain monde […] notre corps n’est pas d’abord dans l’espace : il est à l’espace
The work focuses on the experience lived in the present time.
To give a place to the sensations of the body and to visit this deep feeling of existing, art therapy, hypnosis or even meditation are some of the bodily tools that I can use to set the body in motion. body and experiencing bodily sensations.
Il s’agit d’établir ce lien entre corps et psyché. Le travail porte sur l’expérience vécue dans le temps présent.
This way of thinking specific to clinical phenomenology inspires my work as a psychologist to reinstate the bodily dimension of being. It is articulated with cognitive behavioral therapies which offer a panel of tools allowing the patient to take an active part in his therapy and, paradoxically, it is articulated with the psychoanalytic approach which allows to think about lived history and past.
To undertake psychoanalysis is to undertake an exploration of one's psychic life. It’s a long, word-based job.
Sigmund Freud is at the origin of the creation of psychoanalysis which is for him both a method of investigating the psyche but also the creation of a new theory in which he tries to explain the mechanisms of the unconscious and its links with the conscious. Freud is known to be the creator of psychoanalysis and the analytic cure, although others have actively participated in it. The psychoanalytic consensus has continued to evolve, dividing into several currents and today psychoanalytic treatment no longer presents itself in the same way as in Freud's time.
When you undertake psychoanalysis you go in search of what animates your unconscious. Our unconscious is capable of remembering distant memories and a whole set of information to which we no longer have access.
How was it possible to define the existence of the unconscious, if we do not have access to it?
The subconscious is not that airtight! Our dreams, for example, are a path to the unconscious. But also the slip and the missed acts.
The analyst’s job is to guide the patient in a review of their history, to give it a new and updated meaning in relation to their explorations of the unconscious.
A psychologist can work with a so-called psychodynamic psychoanalytic approach, to understand and hear the patient's speech in conjunction with one of the two other approaches mentioned above, or both. Instead of opposing, I believe these approaches complement each other.
I consider that the effects of verbal and analytical therapy will be all the more important if this is accompanied by therapy involving the emotional, cognitive and bodily spheres.
